You've heard of the term one size fits all right? In integrative therapy I don't believe this is true, actually I'm not sure it makes sense to be in any context. You wouldn't buy a car you didn't feel comfortable driving, or shoes one size to small just because you like them. It's the same for therapy. It is so important it works for you and what you are looking for.
I collaborate with each of my clients to ensure that their therapy is the right fit for them. We are all different, so therapy with me will be about making sure we talk about what you need and how we can work together.
I work face to face in a purpose built therapy room. You might be benefit from working in person with a therapist rather than online. It can be so useful to visit your therapist in a designated place. You get to leave and have a good transition from therapy back into your life. You get to see your therapists body language, hear their tone of voice without the risk of the internet buffering. I understand this and can offer you this space.
I also understand that you might not be able to travel to see me in person or this may not be your preferred way of working which is why I am also trained to work safely and ethically to deliver therapy online with clients.
I can offer session online or by phone if that is a better fit for you. Maybe it would be more comfortable for you to have some of your home comforts around, tea from your favourite mug. It's a great way to cut out some travel costs and means that those who face challenges getting around can access therapy too without too much of a struggle hopefully!
Sessions can be short term and time limited and open - ended where you stay for as long as you need. This will depend on what you need and how you process through your therapy journey.
