That’s what the free 20-minute chat is for — no pressure, no forms, just a real conversation.
You’ll get a feel for my style and how I work, and I’ll get a sense of what’s been feeling heavy for you.
If it doesn’t click, that’s totally fine. The right therapist should feel like someone you can be real with — not someone you have to perform for. -
I work online across the UK and in-person in Brierley Hill, Birmingham.
Most of the teachers I see prefer online sessions because it fits easily around school hours — no travel, no classroom chaos, just a quiet space where you can finally switch off. -
We start with a free 20-minute call to see if therapy feels right for you.
If we decide to work together, sessions are 50 minutes, usually once a week, at £55 per session.
We’ll go at your pace — you won’t be thrown into the deep end. Therapy is simply a space to unpack what’s been weighing you down, one piece at a time

Yes. What you share in therapy stays private.
There are a few legal exceptions — like if someone’s at serious risk of harm — but we’ll go through all of that clearly before we start so there are no surprises.
You get to decide what feels safe to share and when. -
Life happens.
I ask for 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule — that gives me time to offer the slot to someone else.
If something comes up suddenly, we’ll talk it through and figure out what’s fair. -
I’m a qualified therapist and registered member of the BACP.
My background includes working on a crisis helpline and supporting people through anxiety, burnout, and self-doubt.I offer therapy to all, mostly therapy for teachers who give everything to others but feel drained, anxious, or unsure of themselves.
My approach is laid-back, realistic, sometimes sweary — always humanFeeling safe in therapy matters. I’ve spent over a decade working for a national mental health charity, and that experience shaped why I became a therapist — to offer the kind of support I once needed myself.
I’ve trained in Counselling Psychology and Therapeutic Counselling, and I keep learning so I can give you the best support possible. I’m also a registered member of professional bodies (BACP and NCPS), which means I work to high standards of ethics and care.
When we work together, you can rest knowing I’m fully invested in your growth and here to help you feel lighter, clearer, and more confident.
