Questions About Therapy?
How do I know if we are a good fit?
Great question! Finding the right therapist is crucial. During our free call, ask yourself: Do I feel comfortable opening up? Does the conversation flow naturally? Do I feel at ease?
As a therapist, I'm not everyone's cup of tea—and that's okay. Therapy is an investment in you, so we need to get this right. If after our call I feel I'm not the best fit for your needs, I'll help you find someone who is.
What Can I Expect From Therapy?
Your Free Getting Started Call A 20-minute conversation to see if we're a good fit and answer your questions about therapy.
Planning Your Sessions We'll decide together what works best—weekly or flexible scheduling, and whether you prefer meeting in-person, online, or by phone.
Your Therapy Journey Each session follows your lead. We'll explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, helping you reconnect with yourself and build genuine confidence.
You're always in control of what you share and how fast we go.
Is everything confidential?
Yes, therapy is a safe space. Everything we discuss is confidential and stays between us. We'll explore this fully during our introductory call, and you'll receive paperwork explaining confidentiality limits before we start working together.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
I ask for 48 hours' notice so the slot can be offered to someone else. If we can reschedule within the same week, we'll simply move your appointment. Less than 48 hours' notice means the full fee is chargeable.
Do I need help now? Am I in crisis?
If you're experiencing thoughts of suicide or self-harm, extreme distress, intense panic attacks, loss of reality, or behaviour that puts you or others in danger—this is a crisis.
